Terms and conditions

The rules for using this site and ordering puzzles.

PLACEHOLDER — REVIEW BEFORE LAUNCH. These terms must be reviewed by a UK consumer-law solicitor before the site accepts paid traffic. The structure is correct and the custom-print-specific clauses are flagged for special attention.

1. Who we are

MySlavko.com is operated by Andromia Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number TBC) with registered office at [REGISTERED ADDRESS — TBC]. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Andromia Ltd; "you" and "your" refer to the person placing an order or using the site.

2. Acceptance

By placing an order or using this site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or have a parent or guardian place the order on your behalf) and capable of forming a legally binding contract.

4. Your photo and what you promise about it

By uploading a photo you confirm that:

  • You own the rights to it, OR have permission from whoever does to use it for a printed jigsaw puzzle.
  • It does not contain content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, infringes anyone's privacy or intellectual property, or depicts a person under 18 in a manner that would require their guardian's consent.
  • You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, store, print and deliver the photo solely for the purpose of producing your order.

We may refuse, without refund, any order that breaches these warranties. We'll try to flag suspected issues before production rather than after.

5. Orders, pricing and payment

Prices shown include UK VAT where applicable. Payment is taken in full at checkout. A contract is formed when we email you to confirm we've accepted your order — not at the moment of checkout. We reserve the right to refuse any order.

Promotional codes are non-transferable, single-use unless stated, and can't be combined with other offers unless stated.

6. Production and delivery

Production normally takes 2 to 3 working days. Delivery times and costs are on the shipping page and are estimates, not guarantees.

Risk passes to you on delivery; title passes once we've received cleared payment.

7. Cancellation, refunds and replacements

Because each puzzle is custom-printed to your photo, the standard 14-day cooling-off right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply once production has started. You can cancel for any reason before production starts (usually within 60 minutes of checkout). Full policy on the refunds page.

8. Intellectual property

You retain all rights in your photos. The MySlavko brand, website code, configurator software and image-processing pipeline are our intellectual property and may not be copied, reproduced or reverse-engineered without our written consent.

9. Our liability

We don't exclude or limit liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that can't be excluded by law. Subject to that, our total liability for any single order is capped at the price you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost profit, loss of opportunity, distress).

10. Events outside our control

We're not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control — carrier strikes, severe weather, pandemics, supplier failure. We'll keep you informed and offer alternatives where we can.

11. Privacy

How we handle your personal data is in the privacy policy.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts, except where local consumer-protection rules give you the right to bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the homepage and by email to customers with an active order. The "Last updated" date at the foot of this page tells you when the current version took effect.

PLACEHOLDER — REVIEW BEFORE LAUNCH. End of placeholder terms. Items to confirm with counsel: (1) company number + registered office insertions; (2) the 60-minute pre-production cancel window is enforceable; (3) photo-warranty clause coverage for likeness rights of third parties; (4) liability cap is reasonable under UCTA 1977 / CRA 2015; (5) governing-law / jurisdiction clause works for EU consumer orders; (6) whether a separate "Website terms of use" should be split out from "Terms of sale".
